Dolores Imperfecti: Full Strip Soul is a theatrical performance in the form of a musical cabaret, directed by the acclaimed and award-winning director Jura Divakouva. The music and songs for the performance were written by Alensandra Malatskovska, and the cast features distinguished dramatic actresses Valentina Sizonenko, Lolita Zhuravlova, and Aleksandra Malatskovska. The premiere was enthusiastically received by audiences and critics, and the cabaret, created thanks to funding from the Mieroszewski Center as part of the 3rd Open Competition, is now being presented in Poland. Dolores's story focuses on a mysterious woman struggling to navigate today's reality, mocking her problems and highlighting its politicisation. The performance, bathed in live music, is both stunning and thought-provoking. As theater critic Jacek Mroczek from TearVaria noted "fucked-up" cabaret is what today's audiences need. The show is the result of a collaboration between actress and producer, Valentina Sizonenko, a Russian opposition activist from the Urals; Ukrainian actresses Lolita Zhuravlova and Aleksandra Malatskovskaya; and Belarusian director Jura Dzivakou. Each of these people had to leave their homeland for political or humanitarian reasons and chose Poland as their new homeland…
