Flour in the Veins
Igor Štiks
Flour in the Veins: a handful of people have been scattered around the world because of the war. They meet again after 20 years, in a city, in an apartment, at night. Everything has changed: the city, the country, the population, their ethnic composition, the streets, the faces, only the trauma remains. That can be deleted neither by the passage of time, nor by the changes in geographic location. It has become an outlook, a way of thinking, a pattern of behaviour. Over time, the trauma becomes familiar and pleasant, while getting over it becomes a painful process full of uncertainty. The individual remains trapped in the trauma. (Boris Liješević)Boris Liješević was born in Belgrade in 1976. In 2004, he graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad with a degree in Directing.
