Waiting for Godot
Samuel Beckett
„Vladimir and Estragon, Kádas József and Krisztik Csaba, are two naïve clowns... waiting for Godot not with bloody despair, but with compliant readiness. They spend time playing with a dotted ball. They juggle with it. They hit it with their heads. They pass it around. They kick it in the wall. They make balance tricks. They control the ball safely. Their acrobatics number could even be a circus attraction. One that can be organically integrated in Beckett’s vision. Their lively laziness is equivalent with interior purposeless apathy. Surrogate bravado.” (MGP, nol.hu)
