Mountainbikers
Volker Schmidt
Franziska is a divorced set designer. Her son, Thomas, has a morbid hobby: he likes to take photographs of dead bodies. The pathological seems to dominate the world around him. His mother, who he feels neglected him, lives a promiscuous life. Recent relationships include the one with Manfred, her doctor and gynecologist, who is married to Anna. When her son dies, Anna keeps changing, while Manfred finds refuge in his passion: biking. Therefore their daughter, now at puberty, receives no more attention. A painfully intense performance about people in a difficult search for the exit from alienation, loneliness and alteration of communication.
